These aren’t “new” items that I made today but I just wanted to show you how things are prepped before they are sent to you.
Yes, I actually sit down and cut up paper and then stamp them. If you ever need a name or even a saying stamped on the cardboard paper, don’t hesitate to tell me. I also have stamps that says Happy Birthday, Thank you, etc. I will probably make an entry later of the stamps that I have. If you are Korean, I also have Korean stamps for you to personalize your package–just throwing that out there.

Lame title. I like stripes, plaids, patterns, plain colors, and my mom + aunt always tell me that I choose colors that fit an older person’s sense of style/taste.. It doesn’t mean the stuff I like are drab! I hope not. Though I have to admit, my choices are sometimes questionable.

How cute is this pattern? From far away, they look like little white polka dots. Hence, the Minnie Mouse reference. But when you actually look closer the little “polka dots” are actually little white hearts!!

There are two bows. The left one is an alli(gator) clip one and the right one is a 60MM clasp clip.
These are great for wearing in your hair or clipping it on a necklace to make a bow tie necklace.
Tee hee. My roommate bought some Halloween fabric for me to make some bows for her. The prints are large and it was hard to incorporate the images on the bows. In order to show the image, I had to make the bows really big. I don’t think she has a hair bow that big. I bet she was disappointed by the way they turned out but she was nice about it. We took it as a lesson. ^^;
Came back on campus and felt an urge to make something with new materials I bought over the weekend.

Went around a few stores/boutiques to see if they would be interested in carrying handmade hair accessories. One place was very open to it. It’s a place I’ve been interested to pitch a long time ago but I finally gathered enough courage to ask/talk to them. An update of it should be up later!

I bet you can tell that I like to use things in more than one way. With that said, there is more that meets the eye when it comes to hair clips.
Traditional usage.
You don’t just have to wear them in your hair!
Bow Necklace.
If you have the hair clips that have clasps (snaps) you can clip it on a necklace and voila! You have one of those snazzy bow necklaces.
Shirt detailing.
Need to shorten the strap of a tank top? Fold the strap to the length you want and then clip it with your hair clip. It secures your top as well as gives it a little oomph with the bow.

Wear your bow from your head to your…
Personalize your phone strap.
Don’t want to wear it in your hair? Don’t know where to put it? Clip on to your cell phone strap, purse strap, book bag, whatever you have and you’ve just decorated/personalized your plain item.

You know you have one of those handmade beanies you made or your grandmother made that you don’t wear because it is super plain. Add a bow on it by clipping you hair accessory on it! I was in the craft store yesterday and I wanted to try out how these alligator clips would work. They are surprisingly good. They don’t fall out or anything. I still like my normal barrette hair clips(that has the clasps). But these are great for when you are on the move and you just want to clip it in your hair real fast.

I really like this. My roommate said it just looks like satin(which it is) but the texture is a bit grainy(?) and it reminds me of how denim looks. The profile of the double bow clip reminds me of a butterfly. Doesn’t the middle picture look like a butterfly?

The bendable bows with a bobby creeping up on them. You can use a bobby pin or a pen to poof up the bows!
Below is a video I shot to explain how to change the shape of the bendable bows how you want them. I lowered the volume because when I was editing them, the audio was really loud and startled me. It is at a weird angle because the camera was on a makeshift stand. I couldn’t find my tripod. >.<
