Hardshell Case

for 13″ MacBook Pro in White.
(+)This overall case is really nice. I like the simplicity of it. This particular case is opaque whereas another one such as green has a bit of transparency to it. Because it is opaque, the Apple logo is cover up which might be a make or break deal for people. For me it was a make deal because it’s like my notebook is undercover. I know the lighting for the logo changes as the lighting on the screen changes but with this case, I know the lighting isn’t distracting anyone around me.
The case adds a bit more weight and bulkiness to it but that is expected with any case. It was a really easy case to install.
(-) The only downside to it is that because of its opaqueness, the battery indicator on the left side is not visible when pressed but that isn’t really important because there are other modes to telling how much the battery is charged.
I am still going to use my neoprene case just because I feel like I need the extra protection. I am just a loser that way.
Here it is in all its glory. You can see the Incase logo engraved in the plastic-nice touch. Holes on the bottom to ventilate the heat.
Sides of the notebook. I’m pressing the button on the third photo and as you can see, you can not see the battery indicator lights at all.
I kind of wish I got to see the “Frost” case because based on the website, it looks like it has a bit of a silver/metallic tint to it that might blend in with the aluminum unibody.
I would recommend getting a hardshell cover or something because even with the neoprene sleeve, you are bound to scratch it somehow with something…either on your desk.. or you lap. I noticed I had minor scratches at the bottom of my notebook. My heart sank and I was determined to get a case.
At the BestBuy store, there was a green case too. I was drawn to the white case and then I saw the green one. I dropped the white one right away but my mom said she liked the white one instead. I took my mom’s advice and chose the white one instead. I am glad I did because the green case was more transparent–which isn’t bad, I just prefer it to be opaque? I feel like my notebook has its identity hidden. Can you say….Undercover? Sneaky. What a ninja!!

After my quiz/test today I got home and checked my email. Turns out someone bought one of my mangas on Amazon, so I wrote down the information to send it out and then went to the post office to send it. I stopped by TJMAXX afterwards and found an awesome outfit!

It’s really cute, I don’t know when I will wear it but it is really nice to look at.

It is a two piece. I couldn’t resist it because I can wear the top alone with a pair of pants/shorts or I can wear the dress under it with another outfit! The possibilities are endless! I love it when I find these things!

It was actually in the clearance section so it was only $15!!

Then I saw this awesome tank.

I also found it in the clearance section. Can you say…$5? Yeah!
It is also an item that can be worn in many different ways! I can wear it in the winter/fall if I wear a white or black long sleeved shirt under it. I can wear it now with another tank top under it. Wearing different colored tanks under it will change the design a bit and so it is something that can be worn with things you already have! Just so many things you can do with it. I can’t wait to wear it.

Retail therapy after my quiz/test. TJMAXX mini-haul? As a student, I really don’t have much money but I couldn’t resist these two items. They might not be “in” but I like them and I think I can do a lot of things with them. I love layering up…even in the summer. I am so guilty of that. Plus it gets really chilly in my classrooms.

I bought a Japanese ice shaver yesterday and I absolutely LOVE it. It’s a manual ice shaver, it’s yellow, and is awesome.

The company that produced it is Pearl Life. It is called Shari-Shari Sweet. Last night I brought out frozen smoothie my aunt made Friday night and used that instead of ice. It came out so fluffy and like the desserts you get at those yogurt/ice cream shops. The smoothie was in one of those Ziploc Twist Top containers

It fits perfectly into the ice shaver.

It comes with a container for you to use, you fill it up with water or anything you want and then you place it in your freezer.

After it freeze you pop it out and place it in the “machine”. The top has a spring on it so you press down and twist the top into place. You start cranking the handle and then out comes the shaved ice! Oh yeah, don’t forget to place a bowl under it. But in case you forget the “machine” has a bottom piece to catch all drippings or ice which makes it a lot easier to clean and you don’t have to worry about getting the table dirty or wet.

From that one block you can easily get about 3 people’s worth of fluffy snow goodness! The picture of the outcome was after I took a cup worth of it out because it was overflowing.

It is really nice and easy to use. It’s really cute and does the job well. I would totally recommend this. I just bought it but I’ll see how long it lasts. I wish it came with an extra blade so that we can change it if the blade gets dull.

This purchase was a total success!! Guess how much it cost??!!

ONLY $12.99!!!

I searched online and the prices were really high, so this was a total bargain! Plus it is made in Japan.

Here are some of the links that came up.

If you guys are interested in buying it. I can totally go out and buy it for you guys and send it to you. We can work things out with Paypal. My only condition is that after you receive your item, you pay me for all the costs such as shipping, the cost of the “machine”, and well that’s it. It is your call on which kind of shipping you want, First Class or Standard but either way I would prefer it to have a Delivery Confirmation Number.

What am I trying to do?

I am trying to share handcrafted items. I've always had a thing for hair accessories from HotTopic, Urban Outfitters, and many other places but it gets really expensive. This is why I began to make my own. That's why my prices are low. I just want to call it even in terms of material costs and postage cost.

I don't want my prices to be around $8 because that would defeat the purpose of my projects. Plus, these accessories are handcrafted, not mass produced. Each and every one of them are made out of love. I usually make them when I feel inspired or in the mood make things. I've tried to force myself to make things and they never turn out right. >.<

How do you order them?
Email/comment and I confirm your order and send you an invoice. I will be using paypal for all transaction.

My paypal email is:

Thanks for stopping by!

P.S. Leave a comment! I'd appreciate it.
